Because Every Bride is Irish (at least) One Day a Year
In lieu that today is St. Patrick’s Day (happy St. Patty’s Splat, friends!) and I am oh so proud of my *Erin Go Bragh* heritage, I would like to pass on one of my favorite blessings to all my brides out there – past, present and future. May you all be filled with lots of love and luck today, tomorrow and always.
An Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
& until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Oh! And may you all your March Madness Brackets be victorious :) Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh — that’s Happy St. Patrick’s Day in Irish… see, this blog isn’t just about fun… we’re about education too! Hehe :)
